Abstract
Speed humps are raised pavement mounds designed to reduce the speed of vehicles. This traffic calming measure is effective along neighborhood streets, thereby increasing safety for pedestrians and motorists.
Purpose
This feature class lists all speed bumps in the District that have been installed rom fiscal years FY-07 through FY-09. Each record has the ward, location, number installed, and the fiscal year of installation for each speed bump.
