Abstract
This dataset provides a list of all Child-Placing Agencies under the auspices of the Child and Residential Care Facilities Division. All information is current as of January 24, 2008.
The Child and Residential Care Facilities Division operates as part of the Health Regulation and Licensing Administration. The mission of the Child and Residential Care Facilities Division (C&RCFD) is to protect the health, safety, and welfare of children and vulnerable adults who are receiving care in child and residential care facilities.
The Child and Residential Care Facilities Division ensures that licensed child and residential facilities deliver safe, quality services. C&RCFD responds effectively and efficiently to customers' changing needs, contributes to the economic growth and development of the District of Columbia, and promotes and supports the professional integrity, growth, development, competency, and excellence of its employees.

Purpose
This dataset has been created by Citywide Data Warehouse program. The mission of the Citywide Data Warehouse is to provide timely and accurate information for decision-making; support executive and agency management in the implementation of business processes which will guarantee access to useful and well-organized information for DC Government workers, non-governmental organizations, and the public.
